A new Community Interest Company (CIC) has launched a fashion shop in the region aimed at providing employment and training to young people.
Patchwork People who are based in Darlington has opened their new shop, name Labelled in Cockerton. The shop which will be run by young volunteers and will sell fashion items including jewellery and accessories.
Alongside the exciting launch of their new shop, Gill Walker who set up the social enterprise is releasing her new book called, "Me Marj and a Trestle Table - Conquering Social Enterprise" which will be on sale in the shop.
